A New Cohesive High-Concentrated Hyaluronic Acid Gel Filler: Correlation between Rheologic Properties and Clinical Indications

نویسندگان

چکیده

Background: Differences among the Available Hyaluronic (HA) gels are relevant to clinical practice as HA physicochemical characteristics guide cosmetic indications. Besides, literature still needs more information about correlation between gel’s behavior through their rheologic parameters and Objectives: We aim evaluate rheological properties of three with high concentrations HA, e.p.t.q. S100®, S300®, S500® (Jetema®) extrapolate results after applied skin. Methods: To correlate possible indications, presentations these were evaluated. The storage modulus (G’), loss (G”), tan δ, complex modulus, viscosity, cohesiveness measured by rheology. Results: non-Newtonian fluid pseudoplastic behavior. All them presented elastic liquids (G’>G”). S500 gel showed highest G’ modulus. S100 δ cohesiveness. S300 intermediary viscosity similar S500. Discussion: Due low is indicated for facial structuring lifting. On opposite, signal refinement. intermediate values point it lift or Conclusions: According results, we can assume that each has a specific indication, combination S500, S300, enables global treatment.

Novel hyaluronic acid dermal filler: dermal gel extra physical properties and clinical outcomes.

BACKGROUND Dermal gel extra (DGE) is a new, tightly cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA)-based dermal filler containing lidocaine engineered to resist gel deformation and degradation. OBJECTIVES To develop a firmer gel product (DGE) and compare the efficacy and safety of DGE with nonanimal stabilized HA (NASHA) for correction of nasolabial folds (NLFs). METHODS DGE physical properties were cha...

BACKGROUND AND AIM One of the most popular procedures of facial fillers in recent years has become the use of hyaluronic acid (HA). However, this method may be associated with local side effects of different severity. Many of them are not due to allergies, as previously believed, but to the formation of biofilm. We review the current knowledge on biofilm after HA. METHODS All pertinent full t...
